Claire Christine Sargenti

Claire Christine Sargenti is an artist known as “The Classically Trained Rebel” for her bold works that break boundaries and cross genre lines.  She is the playwright and actor of the award winning 12 character solo show Interludes: A New (Orleans) Play with original jazz music by Darrell Smith and the 8 piece Interludes Jazz Orchestra.  In addition to being a playwright and actor, Sargenti is the creator and founder of the edgy and urban contemporary ballet company New Bridges Ballet and the solo character The Metal Ballerina.  She is a SAG-AFTRA actor, writer, model, painter, dancer, and choreographer.  Sargenti received her training at the Joffrey Ballet School and The Barrow Group, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in Arts Administration. When not in NYC, She can be found on the streets of the French Quarter entertaining tourists and locals alike with her haunting tales of New Orleans’ twisted and fabled past. www.clairechristinesargenti.com
