There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t wish that I was still dancing. I have done a lot that I am proud of since my retirement, things that I never would have done if I was still dancing, but I still can’t help but miss it. I am currently working as a tour guide for Haunted History Tours, giving ghost tours around the French Quarter. In a city that is known for it’s costumes, I couldn’t resist dressing up like the Metal Ballerina one day during Halloween (we celebrated the entire month.) A dear friend of mine commented when I posted this image on Instagram “Yes!! She lives!!” But the truth is, The Metal Ballerina is a ghost. I am the one who is alive. And since I am alive, there is a lot of work to do. #worthlivingfor
